Overview
The Movie & TV Search MCP server provides ChatGPT with the ability to search and retrieve information about movies and TV shows. This server uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication and supports both anonymous and authenticated access.

Authentication
This MCP server uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for secure authentication. When you first use a tool that requires authentication, ChatGPT will prompt you to link your account.
Note: The movie_search tool can be used anonymously without authentication, but linking your account may provide access to additional features and higher rate limits.
Rate Limits
Free Tier (Unauthenticated)
- 30 searches per day
- Limited to basic search functionality
Authenticated Users
- Unlimited searches (with reasonable rate limiting)
- Access to favorites management
- Personalized recommendations
